The OC Vet Tech was founded on the belief that pets deserve quality care without the fear and anxiety that often comes with it. After over 15 years in multi-specialty and emergency teaching hospital, our founder recognized that many beloved companions were missing routine wellness visits simply because the stress was too much to bear.

What services does The OC Vet Tech provide?
Services include nail trims, subcutaneous fluids, Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, Doppler blood pressure monitoring, anal gland expression, ear cleaning, blood glucose checks, medication administration, sanitary clips, mat removal, and pet sitting.
Are your veterinary technicians licensed or certified?
Yes. The OC Vet Tech is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licensed since 2008 with multi-specialty and emergency hospital experience, and is Fear Free Certified.
Do you provide mobile veterinary services?
No, we are not doctors, we are registered technicians (nurses) that can help you with the treatments recommended by your veterinarian.
What types of animals do you work with?
The OC Vet Tech provides in-home care for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, with special attention to anxious pets and those with mobility challenges.
How do I schedule an appointment or consultation?
Contact us by phone or through our website to discuss your pet’s needs and schedule an appointment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Zelle, Venmo, cash, and checks. Payment is due at the time of service for your convenience.

Courtney has been an absolute angel. She first helped when my senior cat, Sheba, needed fluids, and I was a complete wreck about how to help her. She patiently taught me techniques and care for my little old lady. She was incredibly helpful, caring, and patient, always there to give encouragement and support. When Sheba passed, Courtney was so compassionate and kind. She brought Sheba home for the last time and gave me a gift to always remember my sweet little lady.
When my other cat, Jack, was recommended to start fluids as well, I immediately knew I had to ask Courtney for help. He’s a bit more feisty than my Sheba had been, but once more, Courtney stepped up for us. Her patience and experience helped both Jack and me get into an excellent routine with his care. And while I was worried about him being difficult, Courtney was as kind and patient as ever. While Jack isn’t thrilled, he has quickly settled into his weekly visits, and I’ve found hope that we have a friendly, knowledgable and caring vet tech to help us on this journey. I absolutely recommend Vet Tech Courtney for Pet home care - providing expertise and TLC visits. My Frenchie needs regular special care that falls below a Vet visit but requires a high level of expertise. Snuggs looks forward to her visits and thinks she comes over to play.
